Examples of hyperbole in literature:
Hyperbolising their body, saying they were shaking throughout their entire body and that their eyes were sticking out SO FAR. This creates the effect that whatever the person is viewing/experiencing is either terrifying or shockingHyperbolising the winter, saying it was so cold that all these absurd things were happening. This has the effect of establishing what the environment/setting is like, allowing the reader to understand what the context of the setting is.
