  1. The relationship between Napoleon and Squealer is very important, mostly to keep Napoleon in power. Squealer does the dirty work such as changing the commandments, creating propaganda videos and convincing the other animals that “Napoleon is always right”. In return Napoleon allows Squealer to live in luxury with him – sleeping in a bed, drinking beer and generally getting a better deal than the others.

  2. Boxer and benjamin’s relationship is significant to the novel because if they were not friend then benjamin whodent have made such a big deal about boxer getting taken to the horse slater. Considering benjamin is the only animal that understands english and isn’t a pig. If they weren’t friends then benjamin wouldn’t have bothered to get the others therefore the he wouldn’t have read what was on the truck. And the other animals wouldn’t have realised that boxer wasn’t going to the hospital. If only for a little bit the animals didn’t follow the pigs orders like the blind followers they are. Benjamin says “fools! Do you not see what is written on the side of the van?” the fact that orwell uses a explanation mark means benjaman is panicking and truly frightened. The question portras he is frustrated with the other animals and how oblivious they are.

  3. I think that napoleon and squealers relationship plays a big role in the novel.
This is shown by how much napoleon relies on squeeler to pass the messages around and do everthing for napoleon to keep him in charge of the animal farm. It is also shown by how sqealer convinces all the aniamls in the farm napoleon is the best and always will be and that everyone should look up to him, then making napoleon even higher in charge so that no one will dare to challenge him. Their relationship is very important for the novel becuase without them napoleon would’t be in chatge and leading with such ease.

  4. I strongly think that the relationship between Squealer and Napoleon is very important in this novel as Squealer is the one to keep Napoleon in power. This also happens the other way around as Squealer wouldn’t be high up in pecking order if it wasn’t for Napoleon because Napoleon could send Squealer right back down to the bottom if he tried his luck too hard. Squealer is always the one to speak to the animals for Napoleon as he is better at hypnotising the animals into thinking that Napoleon and himself only do what is right. Without Squealer Napoleon would be drowned by the animals as they would be able to rebel against him easily but with Squealer around no animal would dare to confront them.

  5. I believe that a relationship between Squealer and Napoleon is very important to the plot of the novel. Napoleon and Squealer feed off each others strong traits which leads them to the strong leadership duo they have. Napoleon has a great idea of what he wants and has a plan to execute but lacks the skill of persuading the animals that they are doing the right thing. Squealer however has amazing persuasive speeches and is a great manipulator, but without Napoleon he would have no points to argue for. Together Squealer and Napoleon have one of the strongest relationships on the farm which leads to their success in making pigs superior on the farm.

  6. The two characters I picked where Squealer and Napoleon, these too have a special connection because they took over the farm and they control the animals. Squealer and Napoleon have great teamwork because Napoleon comes up with the great plans and Squealer made them happen with convincing the animals to do what Napoleon says. The only bad thing between these too is that Napoleon has squealer on his pinky finger you can tell this because Squealer always says “Napoleon is always right” this could also be because Squealer is getting more than the other animals and doesn’t want overstep. Overall Squealer and Napoleon make a great team and would be very hard to take them down.

  7. I think that Napoleon and Squealer have one of, if not the most powerful relationship in the novel because of what they can achieve together. Each of them both have abilities that the other lacks, for example, Napoleon has the brains and the ideas but does not know how to express them to the other animals but Squealer is very good at talking to the animal and convincing them to do stuff but lacks the ideas. Because this relationship is so powerful, they dominate the farm with their partnership and therefore run the farm.

  8. The relationship between Napoleon and squealer is major key to this novel. If Napoleon didn’t have squealer he wouldn’t be able to seize power or manipulate the other animals. Napoleon comes up with the ‘Great’ ideas and tells squealer to get them across to other animals. Also they get the animals to believe everything Napoleon says is good. With Napoleon and Squealer saying these things means to the animals that the pigs are the best and no one can challenge them. Without this relationship between the two pigs Napoleon wouldn’t be in charge as easy.

  9. I believe that Squealer and Napoleon have the most important relationship in the novel. This is because neither of them would be able to gain power and rise to leader without the other. Squealer help Napoleon by being his ‘voice’, and by swiftly manipulating the animals to believe what he believes; Napoleon is always right. Napoleon also needs him to spread messages, an example being when boxer is taken away, squealer explains to the other animals and clarifies the ‘horse slaughter’ confusion. In return, Napoleon favours squealer and rewards him by allowing squalor to enjoy luxuries and be ‘on top’. Without one another, both these pigs would just be other farm animals, making this relationship the most important.

  10. i think one of the big relationships in the novel in one between Squealer and Napoleon. Neither of them would been able to gain power by themselves. Although Squealer doesn’t make any ideas he manipulates the other animal to thinking Napoleon is the best so they can work on there schemes to benefits themselves like when they changed the commandant so they had the benefit to sleep in the beds. Napoleon makes the ideas and the plans but is very vain in what he wants and doesn’t think about other to much. and if he didn’t had Squealer he would not have the other animals backing him up.

  11. i think the the relationship between Seqealer and Napoleon is very important. Neither of them would have gained power by themselves. Although Seqealer does not make any idea he manipulates the other animals to thinking that Napoleon is doing it for them when really he is just doing it for himself. Napoleon is very vain on his decisions he only thinks about himself like when they changed to commandment to they had the benefit of sleeping in the bed
